Verified ownerI was surprised how quickly we received the bag, especially living in rural NSW. Seems a perfect bag for our trip, we¡¯re looking forward to using it.
I did a practice pack for my big 1 year backpacking trip coming up.
I had this granite gear product (82L) + the High Sierra (89L - 94L).
My only negative is the tag that came with the product said it was 79L.
However even considering this, (and to my complete surprise), even though this is smaller (79L-92L), it fit just as much in, and took up less space than the 89L - 94L. I think due to the shape and ability to change compartments.
I chose this one as it also has hip straps and the chest strap is adjustable - which is usually my biggest issue being female as the chest strap is always in an uncomfortable position.
This isnt as comfy as a traditional backpack (I have 2 x Kathmandu), but it is the best suitcase + backpack I have come across of this size.
Wish I took a video / picture of the comparison. I will try remember in December when I pack up update this review.
